Hyderabad, Sept. 27 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) leader and MLC Dr Balmoor Venkat today criticised BJP leaders for failing to stand by the people affected by the Moosi floods in Hyderabad.
Addressing a press meet at Gandhi Bhavan, he said that BJP leaders who had once staged symbolic protests in the flood-hit areas are now nowhere to be seen when people are facing severe hardship.
Venkat recalled that union Minister G Kishan Reddy and other BJP leaders had spent a night in the Moosi flood-affected areas last year, but ironically, the very same houses are now submerged.
