Hyderabad, July 8 -- Telangana Congress MLC Balmoor Venkat launched a sharp attack on BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and his son K T Rama Rao (KTR), accusing them of avoiding public accountability and assembly debates on key issues, including alleged irregularities in the Banakacharla project.
Speaking at the CLP Media Hall, Balmoor questioned KCR's silence and absence from the Assembly. "He had time to hold discussions even while in the hospital, but why is he afraid to speak in the Assembly now?" he asked. He recalled that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had openly challenged KCR to join a debate in the House over the alleged fraud in the Banakacharla lift irrigation project.
