Dharamshala, Aug. 1 -- In a heartfelt gesture that stands out amid the ongoing natural disasters in Himachal Pradesh, senior BJP leader and Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma marked his 53rd birthday by extending over Rs. 60 lakhs in financial assistance to nearly 100 disaster affected underprivileged families in his constituency. The aid comes at a time when the state is struggling with the aftermath of severe calamities and many affected citizens are awaiting government relief.
