Patna, Aug. 25 -- Independent MLA from Mokama Anant Singh who had surrendered
before Saket court in New Delhi in connection with recovery of A K 47 assault rifle and
hand grenades from his ancestral house was flown to the state capital on transit remand
this morning and was taken to Barh amid tight security arrangement for his production
before a court later in the day.
Mr Singh was escorted by a police team led by additional police superintendent of
Barh Lipi Singh from New Delhi as elaborate security arrangement was made at local
Jai Praksh Narain International Airport. The law maker was whisked away on an SUV
to Barh through gate number 2 of state hanger by special Patna police team.
