Aizawl, Feb. 16 -- Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma has announced that the much-anticipated mega sale of ginger will begin on February 20 at Secondary Collection Centres (SCCs) and Auction Centres across the state.

The initiative, a part of the ruling Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) government's 'Bana Kaih' or handholding policy, aims to provide direct market access to ginger farmers.

Taking to Instagram, Lalduhoma extended an open invitation to ginger traders, encouraging them to participate in the auctions at SCCs and ACs, where bidding will start at a base price of Rs 50 per kilogramme.
