Aizawl, Dec. 26 -- Nine-year-old singing prodigy Esther Lalduhawmi Hnamte from Mizoram was on Friday conferred the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, the highest civilian award for children in the country, at a function held in New Delhi.
Esther was among 20 young achievers selected from across India this year. The award was presented by President Draupadi Murmu on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, during which children were honoured for their exceptional achievements in diverse fields.
