Aizawl, March 18 -- Mizoram's financial burden continues to mount, with Chief Minister Lalduhoma informing the state legislative assembly on Tuesday that the state's debt is expected to climb to Rs 14,034.76 crore by the end of the 2024-2025 fiscal year.
Responding to a question from Congress MLA C. Ngunlianchunga, Lalduhoma, who also holds the Finance portfolio, stated that the government's outstanding debt stood at Rs 12,082.26 crore after the 2023-2024 financial year.
