Aizawl, Sept. 16 -- In a bid to strengthen Mizoram's agriculture sector, State Agriculture Minister PC Vanlalruata today pushed for Centre's support on improving infrastructure, boosting farm road connectivity, and exploring new avenues like cocoa and oil palm cultivation to increase farmers' income.
Speaking at the two-day National Conference on Agriculture: Rabi Campaign 2025 in New Delhi, Vanlalruata emphasised the pressing need for better farm road infrastructure in Mizoram, which faces significant challenges due to its hilly terrain and frequent monsoon landslides.
