Aizawl, Oct. 10 -- Social Welfare, Women, and Child Development Minister Lalrinpuii opened the national seminar on "Educate the Girl Child: Break the Bondage" today at Government Aizawl North College (GANC), where she highlighted the ongoing challenge of high dropout rates among girls, especially in higher education and technical fields.

The one-day event was organised by GANC's Research & Innovation Committee, IQAC, and the Department of Education, with support from the Directorate of Women and Child Development, Social Welfare Department.
