Aizawl, Jan. 12 -- Mizoram's Disaster Management and Rehabilitation (DM&R) Minister Prof. Lalnilawma on Monday morning visited the site of the stone quarry collapse at Sihphir Neihbawih, where a tragic accident occurred last Friday afternoon around 3.30 pm that killed one person while two others were feared dead.
During the visit, the minister expressed shock over the incident and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families as well as to the people of Sihphir village. He also placed on record his appreciation for the sustained rescue efforts being carried out to retrieve two persons still buried under the debris.
