Aizawl, March 2 -- Mizoram Labour, Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (LESDE) Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar is set to introduce two new bills in the state assembly on Monday, while Chief Minister Lalduhoma will table an amendment bill, officials from the assembly secretariat said on Sunday.
Hmar is scheduled to present "The Mizoram Youth Commission Bill, 2025" and "The Mizoram Private Placement Agencies (Regulation) Bill, 2025" following the question hour.
The Mizoram Youth Commission Bill aims to bolster the commission's role in securing job opportunities for the youth, while the second bill seeks to replace the existing regulations on private placement agencies to curb human trafficking under the guise of employment.
