Aizawl, June 16 -- Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma today inaugurated the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camp here, marking Mizoram's official rollout of the Centre's flagship tribal development initiative.

Speaking at the launch, Lalduhoma highlighted that over 94% of Mizoram's population comprises Scheduled Tribes, making it unique among Indian states where tribal communities often remain minorities. He said this demographic reality ensures that tribal-centric welfare and development schemes introduced by the central government have a far-reaching impact across the entire state.
