Aizawl, June 2 -- Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Monday chaired a crucial meeting focused on strengthening the state's online Inner Line Permit (ILP) system and preparing for the deployment of Railway Police ahead of the commissioning of the Bairabi-Sairang railway line, expected by July.
The high-level meeting reviewed the recently updated ILP guidelines, discussed new provisions, and examined strategies to effectively implement Phase 2 of the online ILP platform. Particular attention was given to curbing the problem of non-tribals overstaying their ILP validity.
