Aizawl, Feb. 18 -- Mamit district in northwestern Mizoram, which shares borders with Bangladesh and Tripura, has been honoured as the best aspirational district in financial inclusion and skill development among 36 districts nationwide, a senior state government official said on Tuesday.
The recognition comes under the Aspirational District Programme (ADP) of the National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) Aayog, with the award carrying an incentive of Rs 3 crore.
