Aizawl, Feb. 9 -- The Mizoram state legislative assembly is set to convene its budget session from February 19.

At least two government bills have already been submitted for introduction, and a state university bill is also expected to be tabled.

Assembly Secretariat officials confirmed on Sunday that bills from the Labour, Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (LESDE) and Urban Development & Poverty Alleviation (UD&PA) Departments have been submitted. Additional bills, including the state university bill from the Higher & Technical Education department, are also expected.

So far, the Assembly Secretariat has received at least 317-starred questions and 35 unstarred questions, along with one private resolution.
