Aizawl, Feb. 10 -- Chief Minister Lalduhoma, who also holds the Finance portfolio, will present the state's annual budget for the 2026-27 financial year in the Mizoram Legislative Assembly on February 26, with the budget session scheduled to run from February 17 to March 16.
Assembly Speaker Lalbiakzama today said that the revised schedule was finalised at the second meeting of the Assembly's Business Advisory Committee (BAC), held earlier in the day. The rescheduling became necessary as the Finance department indicated that it would not be fully prepared to table the budget on February 19, the date fixed during the BAC's earlier meeting on February 5.
