Mizoram BJP chief underscores the need for electing party MP

Aizawl, March 4 -- Mizoram unit BJP president Vanlalhmuaka on Monday underscored the need for electing a BJP candidate from the state to the Lok Sabha in the coming election.

Addressing party workers at the weekly devotion programme at the state BJP office in Aizawl, Vanlalhmuaka emphasised the critical need for a BJP Member of Parliament (MP) from Mizoram, citing the state's reliance on central government funds.

"With Mizoram having no resources of its own, its reliance on central government funds is absolute. This underscores the crucial necessity for a BJP MP from Mizoram.", the BJP leader said.
