Aizawl, March 6 -- The Mizoram Legislative Assembly on Thursday unanimously passed two significant bills-The Mizoram Urban and Regional Development Bill, 2025 and The Mizoram (Village Councils) Bill, 2025.
The bills were tabled by Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation Minister
K. Sapdanga and Local Administration Minister C. Lalsawivunga, respectively.
Lawmakers from both the ruling and opposition parties supported the bills, though some opposition members pointed out multiple typographical errors in the documents.
