Chennai, Feb. 6 -- Mahindra Industrial Park Chennai Limited (MIPCL), a joint venture betweenMahindra World City Developers Limited and Sumitomo Corporation of Japan, marked yet anothersignificant milestone with the commencement of operations of Mitsubishi Electric India PrivateLimited's air conditioner and compressor manufacturing facility at Origins by Mahindra nearChennai.
The facility, spread across 52 acres within the integrated industrial cluster, represents the scalingup of Mitsubishi Electric India's manufacturing presence in India, a company statement issued thisevening said.
The facility was inaugurated by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, through a virtual plaque unveiling.
