Hyderabad, Feb. 19 -- Narsingi police under the Cyberabad Commissionerate rescued a 16-year-old girl who had gone missing and arrested two accused, including a minor, in connection with a sexual assault case.
According to a police release on Thursday, a complaint was received from the victim's mother in the early hours of February 17 stating that her daughter, who was staying with her grandmother at Puppalaguda for studies, left for school on February 16 morning and failed to return home. As her whereabouts could not be traced despite efforts, an FIR was registered.
Following an intensive search, police traced and rescued the girl on the morning of February 18 from the Chengicherla double-bedroom houses.
