Shahpur, Aug. 15 -- The body of a man missing from Bagdu village in Shahpur was recovered today from Rehlu Road in Chambi, police said.
Kangra superintendent of police Ashok Rattan told UNI, Mukhtiyar Singh alias Munna (son of Balwant Singh), a resident of Bagdu, Basnoor, Shahpur, had been missing since August 12. His family searched for him extensively but failed to trace him. A missing person's report was also lodged at Shahpur Police Station.
On Friday, his body was found lying on Rehlu Road in Chambi.
Upon receiving the news, Deputy Chief Whip and local MLA, Kewal Singh Pathania, reached the spot and immediately called the Superintendent of Police, requesting a fair probe and deployment of the ASP to the scene. He also contacted the...
