Kolkata, Aug. 19 -- Divers of the NDRF today recovered two bodies, a male and a female, who went missing last night, from the muddy waters near china mandir of Anandapur canal on Eastern Bypass in east Kolkata and police suspect this was a case of a murder and suicide.
Eyewitnesses said the man, whose body was recovered in the wee hours,identified as Rohit Agarwala (25) was giving a lesson of scooty riding to the girl along the Anandapur canal
around 10 PM last night. The two were the residents of Panchanna Gram nearby and knew
each other.
But when the two did not return home their respective families informed the matter to the police,
who then called the NDRF for the missing persons in the muddy water.
