Chandigarh, Feb. 7 -- A nine-year-old boy, who had been missing for three days, was found brutally murdered with his throat slit in the Kasabad area of Ludhiana on Saturday evening. The deceased, identified as Aman, was discovered in a thicket 50 meters away from his residence.
The murder sparked intense outrage among family members who accused the local police of fatal negligence and bureaucratic apathy.
The victim's family, originally hailing from Hardoi in Uttar Pradesh and residing in Ludhiana for the past 15 years, said that Aman went missing on February 5 while flying kites outside his home.
