Mirzapur, Nov. 29 -- Four people, including a cancer-stricken father and his son, were killed in a tragic road accident on Friday at Katka Padav on the Varanasi-Prayagraj highway under the Kachhwa police station area. The collision was so severe that the car became lodged deep beneath the rear of a stationary truck.
Around 8 am, Anurag Yadav, a resident of Daulatpur village in Soraon police station area of Prayagraj, was taking his father, cancer patient Shyam Krishna Yadav, to Mahamana Cancer Hospital in Varanasi in a Swift car for treatment. Meanwhile, a container truck had been parked on the Varanasi-Prayagraj lane as the driver and conductor had crossed over to the opposite lane to drink tea.
