Srinagar, Aug. 1 -- Kashmir's chief cleric and Hurriyat chairman today welcomed the "united stand" of Kashmiri parliamentarians during the recent debate on Operation Sindoor, stating that they were the only voices to genuinely highlight the deep concerns and suffering of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, who remain at the epicentre of the core issue and the ongoing debate.
Mirwaiz Umar said this while addressing the Friday congregation at the historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar
"A few days back, in the Parliament, there was a debate on the India-Pakistan war after the heinous Pahalgam incident, and different views by different political parties of India with regard to the war, its purpose, success or failure were put forward, " Mirwaiz said. ...
