Srinagar, Nov. 14 -- Kashmir's chief cleric and Hurriyat chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq today said that while tragedies like the New Delhi blast "shock and shake" humans, it is unfortunate that they are often exploited even before facts emerge, with media "hype and drama" pushing narratives that unfairly target a particular community - leaving Kashmiri students and workers across India vulnerable to suspicion and fear.
Addressing the Friday congregation at the historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar, Mirwaiz said that the November 10 bomb blast in New Delhi in which 13 people were killed, and several others sustained gruesome injuries is very sad and painful.
