Minsk, Feb. 20 -- Minsk sees positive steps toward the Ukrainian crisis settlement and expects these changes in geopolitics to influence the situation at the border with the EU, Valery Revenko, the aide for international military cooperation to the Belarusian defense minister, said on Thursday.
"We see that there are big shifts in geopolitics. These shifts occur according to how US policy is changing. But do the EU member states feel this? We have a positive attitude to the fact that steps are being taken to build peace in Ukraine. At the same time, we are following the processes taking place in Europe quite closely. Unfortunately, we are not so optimistic about their actions yet," Revenko told reporters.
