Bengaluru, Jan. 5 -- Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on Monday said that those involved in the stone-pelting incident targeting devotees during an "Om Shakti" procession in Bengaluru have been identified and arrested, adding the government acted swiftly and initiated legal action even before political reactions surfaced.

Speaking on the incident, Parameshwara said the accused are in their teens and that further investigation is underway to determine whether they were instigated by others. "Those responsible for stone-pelting during the Om Shakti worship have been identified and taken into custody. The authorities are probing whether anyone instigated them and will act accordingly," he told media here.
