Mumbai, Jan. 13 -- Maharashtra State Minority Commission Chairman and BJP Transport Cell president Haji Arafat Shaikh has appealed to voters in Mumbra to support the Bharatiya Janata Party, stating that the outfit should also secure victory in the area as it has across Thane, Mumbai, and other parts of the country.
Addressing a public meeting at Afrin Hall near Mumbra railway station in Ward number 26 on Monday night, Shaikh said while the BJP had established its presence widely, Mumbra remained an exception. He urged voters to support what he described as ideas and development by voting in favour of the party and ensuring the BJP's election symbol emerged victorious in the locality.
