Bhubaneswar, May 26 -- The East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Monday stated that a minor soil cave-in occurred this afternoon at Tunnel No. 4 on the Khurda-Bolangir railway line.
According to the ECoR, the incident was caused by loose soil formation and continuous rainfall in the area.
The railway authorities confirmed that there has been no impact on manpower or machinery, and the incident will not affect the overall progress of the project.
All necessary safety measures are in place, and work is continuing as planned, the release added.
