Bhubaneswar, July 21 -- Four persons including two hockey trainers were detained in Odisha's Jajpur district today on the charge of committing gang rape of a 15-year-old minor hockey player.
The unsavory incident that occurred on July 3 came to fore on Monday after the victim, who has been undergoing training at the Jajpur Hockey stadium for the last two years, filed a police complaint.
On July 3, the accused quartet allegedly abducted her while she was returning home from the stadium and waylaid her to a lodge where they sexually assaulted her by turn, police said.
