Hyderabad, Jan. 8 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka and Endowments Minister Konda Surekha on Thursday visited the farmhouse of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and formally invited him to attend the Medaram Maha Jatara.
The ministers handed over the official invitation to KCR and requested him to participate in the world-famous Sammakka-Saralamma festival.
Speaking to the media, Seethakka said she had personally distributed Medaram invitations to floor leaders of all parties during the Assembly session but could not meet KCR then, prompting the personal visit.
