Hyderabad, Feb. 15 -- Telangana Irrigation & Civil Supplies Minister Capt N. Uttam Kumar Reddy at a high-level meeting at Jala Soudha on Saturday reviewed Telangana's irrigation strategy ahead of the 2nd All India State Water Ministers' Conference 2025, scheduled in Udaipur, Rajasthan, on February 18-19.
The meeting focused on Telangana's key priorities in water governance, cost-effective irrigation expansion, and the completion of pending projects.
Reddy reiterated the Congress government's commitment to expanding irrigation with minimal expenditure. Unlike the previous administration, he stated, the current government aims to irrigate an additional 30 lakh acres by accelerating stalled projects.
