Hyderabad, July 9 -- Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao has directed officials to ensure smooth and fair distribution of urea across the state, warning of stern action against any dealers found selling urea at inflated prices or creating artificial shortages.

Speaking during a review meeting with senior officials on Wednesday, Minister Tummala emphasised the need for daily monitoring of urea stocks and supplies at the district level. He instructed officials to hold continuous consultations to ensure that the fertilisers allocated by the Centre are supplied on time, without disruption.
