Ranchi, Aug. 21 -- Jharkhand Agriculture and Cooperation Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey today
heard 74 complaints during a Janata Darbar at the state Congress headquarters.
Issues raised included inflated power bills, pension delays, water crisis, pond repairs, caste-income certificates, urea black-marketing and health-related problems.
Tirkey directed officials to act promptly, warning that the government would not tolerate negligence. She ordered rectification of a Rs 1.32 lakh electricity bill in Hindpiri and said dealers indulging in urea black-marketing would lose their licenses.
Congress spokesperson Sonal Shanti said complaints came from across districts, with several people receiving on-the-spot directions for relief.
