Hyderabad, Aug. 18 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj and Women & Child Welfare Minister Dr. Danasari Anasuya Seethakka has appealed to people and officials to remain alert in view of the weather department's forecast of very heavy rains in Mulugu, Mahabubabad and surrounding areas today. In a statement, the Minister said that heavy rains have already been reported in Mangapet, Eturu Nagaram, and Tadwai, and warned that floods could cause serious disruption. She advised people to stay indoors during heavy downpours, avoid crossing overflowing streams, and exercise caution for their own safety.
