Hyderabad, Jan. 27 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj, Women, and Child Welfare Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka criticised BRS Working President K T Rama Rao (KTR) for his comments suggesting that villages excluded from welfare schemes might turn into battlefields.
In a statement on Monday, Seethakka accused KTR of creating unnecessary panic and misrepresenting the government's welfare efforts.
Seethakka stated that the rollout of new welfare schemes had brought a celebratory atmosphere to villages, dismissing KTR's claims as baseless. She expressed disappointment over KTR's suggestion that the schemes were limited to one village per Mandal, emphasising that the formal launch in one village would eventually extend to others.
