Thiruvananthapuram/Hyderabad, March 23 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj, Women and Child Welfare Minister Dr Danasari Anasuya Seethakka on Sunday emphasised the urgent need for systemic change and empowerment of Dalits while speaking at the Dalit Progress Conclave 2025.
The event, organised by the Kerala Congress in Thiruvananthapuram, was inaugurated by Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath R. Lekar.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Seethakka highlighted the struggles faced by Dalits, particularly Dalit women, and called for a united fight against social injustices.
Sharing her personal journey, she spoke of the challenges she overcame as a tribal woman, rising from adversity to become a three-time MLA and now a minister.
