Minister Seethakka accuses TRS of diverting funds meant for tribals

Hyderabad, July 28 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj, Women and Child Welfare Minister Dr Danasari Anasuya Seethakka accused the previous government of diverting ST Sub-Plan funds that were meant for the welfare of tribal communities and warned the officials not to repeat past mistakes. She asserted that the current government is mulling a plan to increase budget allocations for housing schemes for ST families. The 7th Tribal Welfare Advisory Council meeting convened at Damodar Sanjeevaiah Welfare Bhavan in Masab Tank today under the leadership of Tribal Welfare Minister Adluru Laxman Kumar and Minister Seethakka.
