Hyderabad, Oct. 6 -- Telangana Revenue, Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has directed officials to prepare a comprehensive report on lands allocated by the Revenue Department to various government departments over the last three to four decades, their present usage, and current status.
The Minister pointed out that thousands of acres had been allotted, particularly to the Irrigation and Forest departments, for different projects.
However, following the bifurcation of the state, several projects were either altered or scrapped, necessitating a fresh review of land records.
