Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 19 -- In a major boost to Kerala's life sciences ecosystem, Minister for Industries, Law and Coir P. Rajeev laid the foundation stone for the research and manufacturing centre of the Centre for Research on Molecular and Applied Sciences (CRMAS) at the Bio 360 Life Sciences Park.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister said the project marks a significant step in Kerala's efforts to emerge as a leading hub for biomedical and life sciences industries by effectively integrating advanced research with industry. He noted that CRMAS, which collaborates with premier institutions such as the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), IITs and NITs, is expected to generate over 100 high-skilled jobs through the new facility.
