Chandigarh, July 9 -- Haryana Minister for Energy, Transport, and Labour Anil Vij took cognizance of the death of a youth, identified as Rajesh Kumar, due to electrocution in a field in village Haibatpur under Nigdu police station in Karnal district, and ordered the immediate suspension of six electricity department employees, including an SDO.
Action has been taken against Mohit (SDO), Sunil (JE), and linemen Deepak, Ajit, Satyawan, and Vikas, according to an official statement.
The Minister stated that an FIR had been registered against the six individuals at Nigdu police station on July 6.
