Hyderabad, Jan. 12 -- union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy on Monday said the Centre's Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) -- VB-G RAM G Act, 2025 -- has been designed to strengthen rural employment with greater accountability, transparency and timely wage payments.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP state office here, Kishan Reddy extended Sankranthi greetings and accused opposition parties of spreading misinformation about the scheme. He said the law guarantees work to every rural labourer who demands it, with provisions for unemployment allowance if work is not provided within 15 days and compensation for delayed wage payments.
