Godda (Jharkhand), Nov. 29 -- Rural Development Minister Deepika Pandey Singh on Saturday paid tributes to Shravan Oraon at Devghar Chowk Maidan in Chapri Panchayat under the Thakurganti block, in Godda, Jharkhand.
It is worth mentioning that Shravan Oraon died guarding the country's border in Doklam in 2017.
Marking his death anniversary, the minister offered floral tributes at his statue and said, "The sacrifices made by martyrs remain a lasting source of inspiration for society." She also met his family members and assured them of all possible support.
