Jamui, Sept. 17 -- Bihar Minister Sumit Kumar reacting to the threatening pamphlet allegedly issued in the name of a Maoist outfit against him, dismissed the threats, terming it the work of anti-social elements.

Kumar told UNI here that "I had received similar threats even during the 2010 elections. These desperate attempts cannot frighten me. Some people are trying to scare my supporters and workers, but I will not be deterred," he said.

Kumar further stated that he had spoken with the Jamui administration, which is actively probing the case. "The administration is alert and investigating. All facts will come out. This is not a Maoist act but a mischief by frustrated individuals," he asserted.
