Patna, Dec. 23 -- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Mines and Geology Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha today said that strict action will be taken against any employee found negligent in duty or involved in wrongdoing.
Chairing a high-level review meeting of the Mines and Geology Department, Sinha directed all districts to take immediate steps to achieve 100 percent of their revenue collection targets. He asked the Director to conduct a separate review of Mineral Development Officers of districts lagging behind the targets, including Patna, Rohtas, Aurangabad and Gaya. All districts have been instructed to prepare an action plan within three days to meet the revenue targets.
