Shimla, April 5 -- The Himachal Pradesh government is providing an average monthly benefit of Rs 34.18 crore to milk producers as part of its efforts to strengthen the rural economy and make dairy farming a reliable source of income for farmers.
A government official said the initiative, being implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, focuses on improving the financial security of milk producers while expanding dairy infrastructure and strengthening cooperative institutions across the state.
