Militant nabbed in Manipur, arms recovered

Imphal, June 22 -- Manipur Police and security forces have intensified search operations and area domination here.

As part of the ongoing efforts to restore peace and stability, a significant quantity of arms, ammunition, explosives, and tactical equipment was recovered from various districts, and one active insurgent was apprehended during separate operations, police said on Sunday.

In a major breakthrough, a militant was nabbed from Mayang Imphal Thana Mamang Thongkhong under Mayang Imphal Police Station in Imphal West District.
