Hingoli (Maharashtra), Dec. 30 -- A mild earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale was recorded in parts of Hingoli district early Tuesday morning, triggering panic among residents though no loss of life or damage has been reported, officials said.
The tremor was recorded at 5:55 am, with its epicentre located near Pangara Shinde village in Vasmat taluka, and was felt within nearly 10 km radius of the site.
This event follows a series of minor tremors recently reported in the region, including in Aundha and Kalamnuri talukas on December 11 and 17.
