Kozhikode, June 29 -- A migrant worker hailing from West Bengal was killed, while two others sustained injuries on Sunday due to mudslides in Nellikot near Thondayad.
The devastating mudslides took place over an under construction building.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Elanjar(30) from West Bengal, while two other migrant workers escaped with minor injuries and have been admitted at Kozhikode Medical College hospital (KMCH).
The body of Elanjar was kept at KMCH for post mortem.
The incident occurred around 11 am, three migrant workers were engaged at the under construction building of Regates company at Nellikkat. A series of mudslides was reported over the building and three of them were trapped under the debris. ...
